Motortreaty Heating & Air is a referral service, so there is no repair crew behind this site. When you reach out, you are connected with an independent local provider in our network. That provider is a separate business. They will talk with you about the problem, answer your questions and explain what they can do.

What happens on the call

Keep it simple. You describe what the system is doing, where you live and how urgent it feels. We use that to find a provider who serves your area. Some calls are about a unit that stopped cooling. Others are about planning a furnace replacement or a new AC. Either way, the provider decides if they can take the job and when.

Call hours vary by provider, and availability changes with the weather. Many providers can respond quickly, but it depends on the day and their schedule.

What to ask an independent provider

A few good questions make any visit smoother:

• Can you explain the likely cause in plain words?
• Will you give a written quote before starting?
• What does the quote include, and what could change it?
• Are you licensed and insured for this kind of work?
• Do you work on my type of home, such as a slab ranch with an attic unit?
• What warranty applies to parts and labor?
• If I am replacing a system, can you explain the sizing?

You do not need to know HVAC terms. A good provider will make the answers clear.

You are in control

A conversation with a provider is not a commitment. You can ask for details, compare a second quote and take your time on bigger jobs. Costs vary by job, so a written quote is the surest way to know what you will pay. If something does not feel right, you can say no.

For storm or insurance questions, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
